Part 2
Selling costs, run at Upper Arlington prices
- A worked net sheet at the Upper Arlington median, line by line
- Ohio transfer tax, prorated taxes, and the concessions typical in this market
- What the difference between asking and netting looks like here
Part 3
The Upper Arlington buyer pool
- Who is shopping Upper Arlington right now and what they weigh first
- The Upper Arlington City School District is a primary reason buyers shop here, so homes near the schools and Northam Park often attract a deep pool of family buyers.

The suburb behind this edition
Upper Arlington, Ohio
Upper Arlington is an older, established suburb just northwest of downtown Columbus, inside the I-270 loop. The Thompson brothers founded it in 1913 as a planned garden city, and the historic Old Arlington area south of Lane Avenue still shows that design, with mature trees, wide lawns, and homes from the early 1900s. North of Lane Avenue you find ranch-style homes built after World War II. The Tremont and Northam areas put many families within walking distance of schools and parks.
