Grandview Heights.

Grandview Heights is a small, walkable city just west of downtown Columbus in Franklin County. It became a village in 1906 and a city in 1931, so most of its homes are older and sit on tree-lined streets close to the village of Marble Cliff. The Grandview Avenue district is the social spine, with locally owned shops, restaurants, and a neighborhood theater. On the east side, the Grandview Yard development added newer apartments, offices, hotels, and a grocery, anchored by Nationwide Insurance's campus.

Selling in Grandview Heights

Grandview Heights has its own rules.

Generic Columbus-agent treatment misses what is specific to Grandview Heights: the comp adjustments that matter on these blocks, the school-calendar timing, and the buyer pool that actually shops here. Three things every Grandview Heights seller should know before talking to any agent:

  1. 1

Grandview Heights City Schools is a small, well-regarded district, and that draw helps homes here sell well to families.

  2. 2

Most housing stock is pre-war and full of character, so updated kitchens, baths, and systems tend to stand out to buyers.

  3. 3

Walkability to the Grandview Avenue shops and to Grandview Yard is a real selling point, so location relative to those districts is worth highlighting.
