Lewis Center.

Lewis Center is an unincorporated community in Orange Township, in Delaware County just north of the Polaris area. It sits on the east side of the Olentangy River and has grown quickly with newer subdivisions over the past few decades. Families are drawn to the Olentangy Local School District, one of the larger and better-regarded districts in central Ohio. The location is a big part of the appeal, with the Polaris shops and offices close by and Highbanks Metro Park just to the south.

Selling in Lewis Center

Lewis Center has its own rules.

Generic Columbus-agent treatment misses what is specific to Lewis Center: the comp adjustments that matter on these blocks, the school-calendar timing, and the buyer pool that actually shops here. Three things every Lewis Center seller should know before talking to any agent:

  1. 1

The Olentangy Local Schools reputation is a strong draw for buyers with children, so naming the assigned schools in your listing matters here.

  2. 2

Lewis Center has a lot of newer construction, so resale homes often compete directly with new builds. Updates and move-in-ready condition help your home stand out against builder inventory.

  3. 3

Proximity to the Polaris employment and retail area and easy access to I-71 appeals to commuters, which is worth highlighting for buyers who work in or south of Columbus.
